Grannies on Safari: Return and Refund Policy

You may return any item that was ordered directly from us and that is defective, or shipped due to our error, within 10 days of receipt. Except for the defect, all items must be in "off-the-shelf and in-the-box" condition. Keep the original shipping containers. All returned items must be in the original shipping containers. Items that have been bent, scratched, or otherwise damaged are no longer in salable condition and cannot be refunded. Returning items to us is easy. Just follow these instructions:

  1. E-mail us at returns@theartexplorers.com and tell us what you are returning, why you are returning it and the date you received it.
  2. Mail the defective or erroneously shipped product to: The Art Explorers, Inc., 500 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 300, Chicago, IL 60611.
  3. When we receive your returned package, which must be postmarked and shipped within 10 days of your receipt, we will conduct a forensic examination of the defect or damage.
    Additional charges or credits may be applied to your credit card as follows:
  1. If you are returning your item due to our error or defect and you are requesting an even dollar replacement, no additional charges or credits will be applied to your credit card. As security, we will hold a pre-authorization on your credit card for the amount of the replacement until we receive the return. Note: A pre-authorization is not a charge. It only gives us the right to charge.
  2. If you are returning your item due to our error or defect and you are not requesting an even dollar replacement, your credit card will be refunded the original purchase price (plus sales tax if applicable) once the return item(s) are received and after the forensic examination. No restocking fee will apply. If you wish to order an item other than an even dollar replacement, please place your order via the normal order process.
  3. In special circumstances we may be able to offer a policy adjustment at our discretion, if you are returning your item(s) due to a change of mind or your error (but not your damage). In this case, your credit card (or account) will be refunded the original purchase price (plus sales tax if applicable) less a restocking fee once the returned item(s) are received. The restocking fee for items is set at 15% of the item(s) order price or $15, whichever is greater. If you would like to reorder this or other items, please follow the normal order procedures.

This Return Policy may be changed at any time and from time to time without notice and does not apply to items sold from other Web sites (for example: cafepress.com, orbertdavis.com, allanphillipsmusic.com), even though such items may be referenced or appear on our Web site or may use our logos. The return policies for items ordered through third-party sites may differ, and you should consult them. This Return Policy is effective as of November 1, 2006.
